Welcome to amgadhs.com, my personal blog. My name is Amgad H. Suliman. I’m a software developer/web developer, currently based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I’ve been developing software professionally since I was 19 years old (1997). Most of my experience is based on Microsoft development tools like Visual Basic 5 and 6, C#, VB.NET and VBA in Access, which were used to develop Line of Business applications. I have done some work with open source software before, mainly PHP and MySQL. But these technologies aren’t very popular in this part of the world.
Some of the server technologies I use everyday are SQL Server and IIS in the Windows servers. And Asterisk, Kannel, and MySQL in a Fedora server.
If you are like me, you don’t like to read long posts or articles too, so I’ll always get straight to the point and just write the code. So I hope you’ll find the blog useful. And please leave a comment with your opinion.
